Crowder College had $14,865.90 of unclaimed ARP student funds. The school disbursed those funds to 199 students with an EFC of 0 who were enrolled as of the July census date for the summer 2023 semester. This has exhausted all of the CARES (ARP) student funding for Crowder College.
July 21, 2022
Crowder College disbursed $238,601.70 in ARP (HEERF III) funds to 858 students on 7/21/22. The criteria for this funding was based on a report pulled on 6/10, 6/16, and7/11 for any student enrolled in at least 1 credit hour for the Summer 2022 semester. This report does not include dual-credit/ dual enrolled students. The report was then broken down into need-based vs non-need based solely on if a student had a Pell eligible EFC on their 2021-22 FAFSA. 233 students were deemed full Pell eligible, with a 0 EFC and received a sum of $437.40. 625 students were determined as either Pell eligible with an EFC greater than 0, or they did not have a 2021-22 FAFSA on file. This group received a sum of $218.70. This is the final student funding that Crowder College has to release.

Crowder College disbursed $4,667,300 in ARP (HEERF III) funds to 2763 students on 10/15/21. The criteria for this funding was based on a report pulled on 9/22/21 for any student enrolled in at least 1 credit hour for the Fall 2021 semester. This report does not include dual-credit/ dual enrolled students. The report was then broken down into need based vs non-need based solely on if a student had a Pell eligible EFC on their 2021-22 FAFSA. 1,480 Students were deemed Pell eligible and received a sum of $2,200. 1,283 students were determined as non-need based or not eligible for Pell, and this group received a sum of $1,100.

The Federal Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the American Rescue Plan (ARP)- Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III), provides emergency funding to colleges to assist students in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
These funds are provided to help qualified students cover expenses related to food, housing, course materials, tuition, technology, health care, and child care. These funds are not part of a student’s Crowder financial aid award, but students who receive funds may spend these funds on tuition and fees.
Crowder College, following all guidance from the federal Department of Education, is distributing funds to qualifying students. If you are currently enrolled for the Fall 2021 term, you may be eligible for funding. The funds will be processed by Crowder College, in the upcoming weeks, through our partner, BankMobile Disbursements. These funds will be distributed by Bankmobile based on your refund preference you have already established this semester. The criteria to be eligible for the Summer ARP funding was opened up to a wider group of students based on new ARP Guidelines. A report was pulled on 9/1/21 of all students who were enrolled for the Summer 2021 term. These students had to show being enrolled as of one of the following three dates: 6/11/21, 6/17/21, or 7/10/21. The students also had to be enrolled in at least one credit hour. This list only excluded dual-credit/dual-enrolled students as determined by the school. The report yielded a total of 838 students. Those 838 student were then broken into categories of exceptional need or non-exceptional need. This was determined by a student being Pell eligible (EFC of 5711 or less) or non-Pell Eligible. Of the 838 students on the report, 384 students were determined as having exceptional need. 454 Students were determined as not having exceptional need. The exceptional need students received $1,000 each. The non-exceptional need students received $500 each.
As of 9/15/21 Crowder College has disbursed $611,000 to 838 students.
