Title IX Resources

Crowder College is committed to maintaining an environment that is free of discrimination on the basis of sex within its educational programs and activities. Crowder College cannot and will not tolerate discrimination against or harassment of any individual or group based upon race, sex, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, genetic information, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran’s status, or any factor that is a prohibited consideration under applicable law. The prohibition on sex discrimination, also prohibits Sexual Harassment, as defined in this policy.

The Nondiscrimination Policy applies to registered or enrolled students, College employees, contractors, vendors, visitors, guests, or other third parties.

  • a detailed description of the full Title IX grievance process
  • applicable definitions
  • the role of the Title IX Coordinator
  • how to report a violation of sexual harassment
  • the formal complaint procedure and reasons for dismissal
  • options for informal resolution
  • a statement prohibiting retaliation

Title IX Training

Crowder College will ensure that the Title IX Coordinator, Investigator, Hearing Officer, Appeals Officer and any person who facilitates an informal resolution receive appropriate training. Section 106.45(b) of the 2020 Final Title IX Rule requires the sharing of “all materials used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process. A recipient must make these training materials publicly available on its website, or if the recipient does not maintain a website the recipient must make these materials available upon request for inspection by members of the public.
