RE: Crowder employees recognized at end of year celebration

Neosho, MO – Crowder College held its annual employee end of year celebration today with awards presented to employees. There was also recognition of employees for their years of service and retirements.

The tradition of awarding an employee in each employment classification annually is done at the end of the spring semester. This prestigious award may only be received once during their time working for the college. Nominations were made and selected by their peer association members. Employee awards were as follows:

Classified Staff was present to Jill Boman, Accounts Receivable Associate
Jill began working at Crowder, May 22, 2023

Professional Staff was presented to Leandra Toomoth, Instructional Designer
Leandra began working at Crowder, January 18, 2022

Golden Apple Instructor was presented to Jorge Zapata, Agriculture Instructor/Division Chair
Jorge began working at Crowder, April 2, 2001

This year marks the second year awards are being presented to those employees who exhibit traits exceeding the values established in our strategic plan. The following is a list of the values and the employee being awarded:

We respect diverse perspectives – Daniel Brower, Computer Technician
Brower has been employed by the college since July 1, 2021.

We learn from our mistakes – Travis Lallemand, Head Baseball Coach
Lallemand has been employed by the college since July 1, 2002.

We cultivate curiosity and innovation – Henri Whitehead, Academic Success & Testing Specialist
Whitehead has been employed by the college since August 1, 2023.

We care about one another – Jimmy Walker, Psychology Instructor
Walker has been employed by the college since August 15, 2022.

We are passionate about making a difference – Noel Moffet, SSS Project NOW Director
Moffet has been employed by the college since March 26, 2007.

Years of Service recognition was given to employees reaching milestones. These employees include:
