RE: Fall Student-Athletes Perform Well Academically

– Crowder College – Roughriders are continuing to perform well in all aspects of their college education, both in the classroom and in their respective sports.
The Fall Semester 2024 final grades are in, and the average student-athlete GPA for the semester is 3.16 on a 4.0 scale. The top three team GPAs came from softball, baseball and Esports. The softball team ranks the highest with a 3.52 average GPA. Roughrider baseball ended with a GPA average of 3.31, while the Esports team wrapped up the semester with an average GPA of 3.26.
“We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes’ commitment to excellence in the classroom this fall,” stated Brandi Arthur, Crowder College Athletic Director. “Their ability to balance their academic schedules with athletic responsibilities reflects the core values of our program. I appreciate their hard work, our coaching staff’s guidance, and the support provided by our academic services team.”
Crowder College participates in Division I National Junior College Athletic Association sports as follows: Baseball, Basketball (W), Softball, Soccer (M/W), Cross Country (M/W), Long-Distance Track (M/W), Golf (M/W), and Esports (Co-ed).
