RE: Fall 2024 commencement ceremonies

Neosho, MO – Crowder College will hold its Fall 2024 Commencement ceremonies December 13-14, 2024, on the main campus, 601 Laclede Ave., Neosho. The ceremonies will be held in Bob Sneller Gymnasium.

Friday evening at 7pm, Nursing students from the Neosho and Cassville programs will be honored. Saturday will hold commencement for all other degrees and certificates starting at 10am.

Students from all locations are invited to participate in commencement. This fall, there we 265 students who applied to graduate with 294 degrees and certificates this semester. Last academic year, Fall 2023, Spring, Summer 2024, there were 1,032 degrees conferred to 907 Crowder College students.

This year, fellow graduate Ian Freiburger will provide the commencement speech. Freiburger is graduating with an Associate of Art degree in General Studies. He plans to pursue a degree in History Education with a minor in Religious Studies.

Crowder College was established as a two-year community college in 1963, serving a nine-county region in Southwest Missouri. The main campus in Neosho provides a variety of programs including agriculture, nursing, business, teacher education, art, and career and technical programs. The Neosho locations also offers athletic programs that participate in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I sports, housing, dining, and a school farm. Additional Crowder locations are in Cassville, Joplin, McDonald County, Nevada, and Webb City.
