Neosho, MO – Colt Berry will assume responsibilities for coaching the Co-Ed eSports team at Crowder College this fall. Berry began the position August 1, 2022.
Berry began participating in esports in 2015 and began the esports club at Rogers State University in 2018. Most recently, Berry is the manager of an esports center called Contender Esports.
“I understand the time and dedication it takes to be a good leader and manager of an organization,” stated Berry. “I am impressed with the amount of growth that esports has had over the years, especially in the collegiate scene.”
Berry earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus in Business Management from Rogers State University. While in high school Berry studied game design and computer repair at Northeast Technology Center.
Berry will assume duties of the co-ed sports program that began in spring 2020. The team has boasted several accomplishments with one national champion in its limited time.
