Neosho, MO – The Crowder College Roughrider Baseball team won the Region 16 tournament last weekend advancing them to the South Central District tournament. Crowder is the host team for the District tournament which will be played at Joe Becker in Joplin, MO, May 17-19.
The tournament schedule is as follows:
- Friday, May 17 @ noon – Delgado, LA vs. Connors State, OK
- Friday, May 17 @ 3 pm – Crowder vs. Connors State
- Friday, May 17 @ 6 pm – Crowder vs. Delgado
The top 2 teams advance to play Saturday, May 18 at 1 pm. A third game would be played, if needed, on Sunday, May 19 at 1 pm. This is a double elimination tournament with the winner advancing to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, CO, May 25-June 1, 2019.
This makes the 5th Region 16 championship for Coach Lallemand. The team is 47-14 on the season and ranked #10 in NJCAA Division I Baseball.
