CROWDER COLLEGE CONSTITUTION DAY EVENT

NEOSHO, MO – The Crowder College Social Science Division will hold its annual Constitution Day on Monday, September 18, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. in the Wright Conference Center, located inside the Arnold Farber Building.

This year’s annual Constitution Day event will focus on the process of redistricting that can often favor a controlling party – a process known as Gerrymandering. Crowder Debate Students will weigh the merits of taking the redistricting process out of the hands of elected officials and placing it in the hands of non-, or bi-, partisan commissions.

Constitution Day is a national holiday on which colleges and universities across the United States to commemorate the historic signing of the Constitution.
