Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
The Clery Act requires colleges and universities that receive federal funding to disseminate a public annual security report (ASR) to employees and students every October 1st. This ASR (which includes the annual security report and annual fire safety report) must include campus crime statistics for the preceding three (3) calendar years as well as details about efforts to improve campus safety.
The Crowder ASR includes policy statements about safety/security, crime reporting, campus facility security and access, law enforcement authority, alcohol and drug use, sexual assault prevention, and the response to a sexual assault, domestic or dating violence, and stalking.
The Crowder College ASR is prepared annually by the office of the Vice President and Associate Vice President of Student Affairs. The report contains data and policies also provided by the Crowder College Campus Police and Safety Department and Human Resources offices. Crime reports are obtained from members of the campus community, Campus Police and Safety Department, Crowder Campus Security Authorities (CSAs), and local law enforcement agencies. Crimes statistics are maintained on the Crowder Crime Log and included in the ASR.
The report is available online at the link below. You may also request a paper copy from the Vice President of Student Affairs office located on the first floor of Newton Hall, Room 110, on the Neosho campus.
