RE: Crowder Women’s Basketball team earns #3 seed in Region 16 tournament
Neosho, MO – The Crowder College women’s Roughrider basketball team earned the number 3 seed in the Region 16 tournament. The top three seeded teams earn a first round bye and begin play on March 11. Crowder will travel to #2 seeded State Fair for a match-up with the winner earning a berth in the Region 16 finals.
The tournament seeds are as follows:
- Three Rivers
- State Fair
- Crowder
- Mineral Area
- Moberly
Mineral Area and Moberly will compete Thursday, March 6, 6pm at Mineral Area with the winner traveling to Three Rivers for the semifinal game on Tuesday, March 11, 6pm.
Region 16 finals will be held at the higher seeded teams home court on Thursday, March 14.
The Roughriders ended the regular season 20-9 overall, 5-7 in Region 16 play.
