Re: Crowder – Joplin ATTC to host district Skills Welding Conference
Joplin, MO – Crowder College – Joplin Advanced Training & Technology Center will host the Southwest District Leadership and Skills Conference, Wednesday, February 8th, 2023. The Joplin ATTC is located at 420 Grand Ave, Joplin, MO.
Contestants from high school and college will participate in the team welding-fabrication competition starting at 8am. Nearly 40 students from technical schools in Nevada, Lamar, Joplin, Neosho and Reeds Springs will be competing on the high school side, with Crowder College and Ozark Technical College on the post-secondary level. The contest will wrap up between 3-3:30pm with awards, prizes and Crowder College scholarships to top finishers.
