RE: Veterinary Tech contest to be held at Crowder College

Neosho, MO – Crowder College’s Veterinary Technician program will host the Missouri FFA state competition this Friday, February 11, in the Williams Agriculture building on the Neosho campus.

Over 20 teams from across the state of Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma will participate in the event. The highest placing Missouri school will qualify for the FFA national convention in Indianapolis next October. The contest consists of a knowledge test, medical calculations test, instrument ID, parasite ID, breed ID, as well as hands on practical skills.

Best times for interviews will be from 11am-1pm. Contests get underway mid-morning and will end in early afternoon.
