RE: Engineering day at Crowder College
Neosho, MO – Crowder College will host the second annual Engineering day Wednesday, February 26. This year nearly 150 students from area high schools will be competing in twelve contests.
Welcome begins at 9am with contests starting at 9:30pm. The twelve contests include:
- Balsa Wood Bridge
- Duct Tape Structure
- Extreme Engineering Challenge
- Mousetrap Car
- Paper Airplane
- Penny Boat
- Ping Pong Ball Launcher
- Rubber Band Powered Vehicle
- Rube Goldberg Machine
- Team Physics & Engineering Challenge
- Tennis Ball Catapult
- Workstation Build Contest
Some of the projects will be pre-constructed while others are day of competition.
This event is coordinated by Melissa Oates, Division Chair of Post-Secondary Career & Technical Education.
