Neosho, MO – Crowder College Career & Transfer Services have partnered with the Dell Reed Technical Education Center to bring an Employer Panel discussion to campus, Thursday, October 31, in the Elsie Plaster Community Center. Two sessions will be held: 9-10:30 am or 12:45-2 pm.
Students will have an opportunity to hear employers speak about the skills needed in their industry. Industry participants include: agriculture, health care, law enforcement, construction/manufacturing, military, and transportation & logistics. Companies participating in the panel include: Access Family Care, Grassland LLC, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Twin Oaks Custom Cabinets, United States Army, and Joplin Freightliner.
“This event is open to all students and staff at the college. Soft-skills will also be a topic of discussion, so even if these industries do not fit your career path you will benefit from hearing what employers look for in applicants,” stated Abby Tribble, Career and Transfer Services Coordinator
