Neosho, MO – Crowder College will host Manufacturing Day, Friday, October 4, at both the Dell Reed Technical Education Center, Neosho, and Joplin Advanced Training & Technology Center.
Both facilities will provide tours to area junior high and high school students exposing them to career opportunities in manufacturing. The Neosho activities will also include tours of La-Z-Boy and K&S Wire throughout the day.
Tour schedules for Crowder are as follows:
- Dell Reed Center, Neosho campus – 9 am-2 pm; Neosho Jr High and High School students
- Joplin ATTC, 420 Grand, Joplin – 9 am-noon – high school students; 2-6 pm – Public Open House
Manufacturing day is a national day of celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of employees.
