Neosho, MO – Crowder College Agriculture division will host the 7th annual Roughrider Scholarship Rodeo August 23 and 24, 7:30pm nightly. The arena is located at 608 Field Ave., Neosho, which is between the Newton County Fairgrounds and La-Z-Boy.
The rodeo is IPRA and ACRA sanctioned and sponsored by River Bend Casino. This year’s specialty act is John “Lefty” Kee, Park Hills, MO.
Mutton busting for the kids will begin at 7pm with registration starting at 6pm near the press box. Children 8 and under who weigh less than 50 pounds may register to ride. There is a $25 entry fee.
Advanced tickets are available: $10-Adults and $8-Children ages 6-12, free-ages 5 and under. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Crowder Bookstore on the Neosho campus, First
Community Bank and Eric Norris State Farm in Neosho. Tickets purchased at the gate are $12 and $10 respectively.
