Crowder to begin fall classes Monday

Neosho, MO – Crowder College students will begin fall classes on Monday, August 19 at all locations. The college’s main campus is in Neosho and offers educational opportunities at locations in Cassville, McDonald County, Nevada, Webb City and at the Joplin Advanced Training and Technology Center. Interested students may enroll through the end of the 1st week, Friday, August 23.

 

Crowder offers housing on the main campus in Neosho with over 350 students residing in the dorms or apartments. Move-in for dorm students will be August 17-18.

 

Start Smart is being offered to all new students and their families. This short orientation allows the students to find out more about the college and lets their parents know what to expect. Start Smart is scheduled for 1 pm, Friday, August 16 and 17 on the Neosho campus. The session will wrap up with tours of campus to aid students in finding buildings and classrooms.

 

Campus Life has events scheduled for the first two weeks on the Neosho campus. Events include free pizza, cookout and club rush, bingo, bowling and more. On Wednesday, August 21, Campus Life also has space available for businesses to showcase what they offer to students and staff. Tables will be set up at the cookout for organizations who have contacted Campus Life to set up a space. Contact Campus Life at 417.455.5644 to reserve space.

 

The Aggie club has a street dance to kick-off the rodeo weekend. The dance is August 22, and the 7th annual scholarship rodeo is August 23 & 24, 7:30 pm nightly at the Crowder College Roughrider Arena.
