Crowder Board Begins Presidential Search Process
Neosho, MO – The Crowder College Board of Trustees has begun the search process to choose the next president of Crowder College.
Applications for the position will be open from June 1 through September 30, 2018. Qualified applicants will be reviewed by a search committee which includes representatives of the Crowder College board of trustees, administration, faculty and staff. The search committee also includes community members.
Upon review of the applications the committee will meet, and eventually nominate potential candidates for consideration to the Crowder College Board of Trustees. The finalists will be interviewed by the Board of Trustees, and in addition, each of the finalists will be made available to address the public. The Board of Trustees intend for these interviews to be held in November, and the Board hopes to offer a contract to the next president of Crowder College by January 1, 2019.

The Board of Trustees is currently conducting interviews to name an interim president to serve until the new president can begin duties.
Dr. Jennifer Methvin, the current president of Crowder College, has accepted a position as Chancellor of the Arkansas State University, Bebee, AR, where she originally began her career.
