Crowder’s Trio Programs are also hosting the MOKANNE Student Leadership Conference this weekend, June 24-26. This conference will have 300 students and their advisors from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Students will participate in a variety of breakout sessions from leadership to life skills. Wade Rouse, author and humorist, will be the keynote speaker on Saturday evening at 7pm. Rouse has been featured on multiple times on NBC’s Today Show.
Upward Bound programs are federally-funded programs designed to provide education access and assistance to income-eligible, first-generation, and/or disabled students. Crowder College UB Programs provide 300 high school participants in 10 counties in southwest Missouri with an opportunity to complete a course of college preparatory study, which equips them for success in post-secondary education.
