Club
Crowder College sponsors a
multi-cultural gathering of students to foster understanding, communication
and appreciation of the many cultures present on campus.
The group is very active in
community service projects, outreach events on campus, and several social
activities throughout the year. This Web page will be updated periodically
with notices and coverage of events.
Spring
2007 Events:
Black
History Month Movie Nights- During the month of February (dates
to be announced) join us in the Fireside Room to watch movies- - from
comedy and drama to history and documentary- - to celebrate Black History
Month at Crowder. The club will sponsor the movies and will be selling
popcorn, sweets, and sodas for a fundraiser.
During the month of February, exact dates to be announced.
Hiking,
Fishing, BBQing at Roaring River- The international club will
spend a day for their second annual day at Roaring River State Park in
Cassville, Missouri. Fishing, Hiking, Caving (spelunking), and BBQ ing
are only some of the great activities planned.
Date to be announced after mid-terms.
SILVER
DOLLAR CITY: International Club Members will attend the World
Fest at Silver Dollar City!!! The festival will offer music and food from
around the world, not-to-mention, there are awesome roller-coasters and
exciting rides throughout the park. Club members will get free tickets,
any non-members are welcome to attend, but will have to purchase their
own tickets at a discounted group price.

Cinco
de Mayo- Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Big Spring Park in downtown
Neosho, Missouri. Bring your lawn chairs and food/drink to share with
everyone. A DJ will be playing music for dancing and fun!!!
