Financial Aid

Financial Aid count day changing to the 20th day of class
In order to align requirements related to state and federal reporting, the financial aid count day (census day) will be moved to the 20th day of classes beginning with the Spring 2010 semester.  Accordingly, the Crowder College Financial Aid office will not begin posting financial aid payments for the spring 2010 semester until after February 17, 2010. We will count the number of hours enrolled for each student at the end of the business day on February 16, 2010 and calculate financial aid payments accordingly. This will allow students additional flexibility in their class scheduling.  These initial payments will take several days to post.
These initial payments will be for those students who had complete financial aid files for the Fall 2009 semester. Every effort will be made to have refunds mailed to these initial aid recipients by the end of the sixth week of classes. We apologize for any inconvenience and are confident that the timeliness of this notification will allow our students the opportunity to plan accordingly.

If you have any questions, please contact the financial aid office.
