Circulation/Reference Librarian,
responsible for the oversight of circulation functions of the library, including reserves, interlibrary loans, periodicals, and supervision of circulation staff. This position also provides reference services to library patrons and assists the Library Director in developing and providing information to support the academic curriculum, collection management, and other duties as needed. Requires a Master’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited institution, a minimum of two years post-Master’s professional academic library experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience with electronic library systems (preferably Innovative Interfaces Millennium ILS), and teaching experience (in library instruction). Summer 2009 Job Opportunity

The Crowder College Upward Bound Programs are seeking positive, enthusiastic individuals for positions as Resident Assistants during the summer 2009. The positions will offer employment for 7 to 12 weeks beginning in late May and ending in mid August. Duties include supervision of residence halls, activities, trips, tutoring high school students, and general office work. Salary: $300 per week plus paid training, room/board, opportunity for travel and challenging experiences. Residence hall or youth experience preferred.
