The Crowder College Music Department curriculum includes the courses listed below. Academic excellence is expected and encouraged for all Music students. Crowder's Associate of Arts degree requirements are accepted by all Missouri colleges and universities. With a degree from Crowder you will have the basics needed for acceptance into a four-year college or university plus the experience needed to make you an asset to any music program.

Scholarships
Crowder College offers talent based scholarships for participation in the various ensembles. You do not need to declare a music major in order to receive a scholarship. Call or write for more information. 

Applied Lessons
Crowder College offers private applied lessons in voice, brass, piano, guitar, woodwind and percussion. These lessons, offered at one or two credit hours, are available to students.

Crowder Choral Groups

Chorale
Chorale, a vocal ensemble open to all students, practices and performs a variety of music ranging from classical to spiritual to jazz.

Chromatrix
Chromatrix, the jazz/show choir, is an auditioned vocal group that incorporates movement into the musical program.

Community Chorus
Community Chorus is a large chorus made up of students and community members. This group performs larger choral works, sometimes with orchestra.
