THE NIGHT AWAY
FOUR DANCES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE---WHAT A DEAL!!!!
This course consists of 8 weeks.
First two weeks-- Two Step. Students will learn the basic turns, steps,
and single arm turn for the ladies, etc.
Second two weeks- Shuffle. Students will learn the different double
and single turns, basic steps, etc.
Third two weeks -- Swing Dance. Students will learn the newest rage
sweeping the country! Learn the basic “Frame, Dance Step”
and “The Sweetheart Wrap.”
Fourth two weeks -- Waltz. The most gracious and elegant of modern dance.
Students will learn basic moves of the Promenade.

TAI CHI
Tai Chi is a healing/martial art that combines many martial arts movements
with Qi (energy) circulation, breathing, and stretching techniques.
Stretching exercises, warm up exercises, Qi gong, and the Wu style Tai
Chi Chuan First Form will be taught. The experience of hundreds of years
has shown that practicing Tai Chi can improve one’s health, reduce
tension, and cure a number of ailments such as high blood pressure,
arthritis, asthma, stomach illnesses, heart problems, and nervousness.
Tai Chi is a soft style internal form of Kung Fu with a nonviolent approach
to self-defense and primary emphasis on mind and body unification. The
essential purpose of Tai Chi is to regulate and stabilize the energies
of the body to promote health and a sense of well-being, as well as
to clear and relax the mind.
Participants are advised to wear loose (light weight) clothing and flat
soled shoes (tennis and running shoes are acceptable).

TAE KWON DO FOR YOUTH
This course provides the student an opportunity to learn the art and
discipline of Tae Kwon Do. Students will learn personal discipline,
respect for themselves and others, self-defense, and gain physical strength,
balance, and flexibility. The opportunity is available through arrangement
with the Instructor for belt advancement and tournament competitions.
For youth ages 8-15 (or by permission of Instructor)
Instructor: Kevin Mahurin, 1st Degree Black Belt, MOO Duk Kwon, Tae
Kwon Do, Two-time number one rated competitor in forms and fighting.
Jan through May (Tuesday)
