Crowder MARET Center Business Incubator 

The MARET Center serves the renewable energy industry with business start-up and product development services.  Staff at the Center is available to business partners in identifying technologies and business opportunities in renewable products and services, and can assist in the process of bringing products to market in this growing field.   

A recent Business Incubator project included energy-efficient house design and solar hot water installation for New Beginnings, a local company that builds low-income housing through the Missouri Housing Development Commission.  MARET faculty also assisted with development of solar powered neighborhood electric vehicles in conjunction with SolStainable Technologies. 

The new MARET Facility will include 1,200 sqft of dedicated space for business incubation partners, including secure office and laboratory areas with high complete telecommunication capabilities.
