Paramedic Certificate Program

An accelerated 27 week program that begins January and
ends Mid-July

Divided into three, nine-week segments; approximately 304 hours of hospital, 400 classroom hours and 240 hours of field rotations including ER, OR, CICU, CCU, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, RT, Psychiatric Unit and ambulance rotations in Joplin, Monett, Anderson, Miami, OK and Neosho. Program includes ACLS and PALS. Must have valid Missouri EMT license, and pass criminal background check. COMPASS and/or ACT required, High School Diploma or GED, four hours of Anatomy and Physiology and successful completion of interview.

Tuition $4,060 (includes two uniform shirts, liability insurance, and all specialty labs). Student responsible for purchasing textbooks.

 

EMT Program

Crowder offers both day and night classes in Neosho and night classes in Cassville and Webb City. One semester (16 weeks), class meets three days per week. Must be 18 years of age. 36 ambulance hours, 12 ED hours and four 911 Call Center hours required. Hospital and ambulance rotations in Joplin, Aurora, Monett, Anderson and Neosho. Tuition depends upon residency status; one uniform shirt and student liability insurance included. American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Level CPR card required.

Paramedic Demonstration
